As the family were so engaged with Nikolas & KKH then; we only have the chance to celebrate Yiyi's birthday today.

Grandma cooked up a storm of Yiyi's favourites tonite! of course; how can a birthday celebration without a birthday cake!

Mummy is so so proud of Nikole!!

During the last couple of "away-days" of Mummy and Grandma; Nikole was being "entertained" and taken care by Daddy most of the time...

She came with us when we sent Nikolas to KKH on the evening of last thurs. 

When the doc say Nikolas has to be warded; Grandma wanted to stay at KKH with Mummy to look after Didi; hence we have no choice but to sweet talk Nikole to go home with Daddy and Grandpa..

Mummy's tears streamed down so uncontrollable to see her little princess being brought home by Daddy in teary eyes.. that was the first night that Nikole had spent without the present of Mummy..

Mummy knew the insecurtiy and fear within Nikole .. and she is trying hard to pleased mummy by agreeing to go home with Daddy..

that night was especially long for our dear princess. she talked to mummy over Facetime; and tears keep streaming down her eyes.. and she keep asking Mummy to assure her not to cut off the line so that she can see Mummy..it was difficult especially when Mummy had to keep asking Nikole to hold the line and attend to help Grandma with  Nikolas's vomit / diarrhea.

Nikole finally fell asleep at 3am while holding on to the line... Mummy's heart was aching.. Mummy felt so much wanna hug and give the little girl a big good nite kiss.. Mummy can only watch Nikole over Facetime and get Daddy to hang up the call thereafter.

When Nikole woke up the next morning; it was almost 12 noon. she excitedly called Mummy over Facetime again and greeted Mummy cheepily with a good morning. She washed her self on her own; took her breakfast cum lunch; dressed herself and all ready for Daddy to bring her to KKH to be with Mummy.

She wanted Mummy to promise her that Mummy will not let her go home alone with Daddy again.. Mmmy promised.. but alaas; Mummy broke her promises. Nikolas cannot be discharged; we all had to stay over at KKH one more night. Nikole was saddened by all the impromtu arrrangement. She stayed till 10pm the second nite; keep hugging Mummy and giving all sort of excuses / reasoning not to leave KKH.. Daddy and Ah gong manage to coaxe her into leaving.. promising to bring her to her schoolmate's 5th birthday party the next day.

She must be tired after all the tension and crying on the prior nites; Nikole woke up at 11am on Saturday nite. Without the need to push and pull; she automatically went to get herself ready. She even chose her own outfit for the afternoon party. Ah gong is full of praises for this little gal.

After the party; she wanted Daddy to drive her to KKH so that she can shared her excitement with Mummy.

She shared lotsa stories with Mummy abt the birthday party. the party sure make her day.

When it's time to depart; it was another moments of tears flowing sessions again. she did not cried loud; juz let her tears flows from her eyes and keep asking mummy to hug her and promise that everyone are going home soon...That nite she sure was tired; she slept in the journey home.. Daddy carried her directly to her bed.

when we realised that Nikolas cannot be discharged on Sunday again.. our heart sank.. the following day is school reopen day. it is always Mummy whom woke Nikole up in the morning ; got her dressed and kiss her goodbye to school.. Mummy is worried how nikole can manged without Mummy. Mummy decided to let Nikole absent from school. Daddy say he is confident to do all for Nikole; hence we decided to let nature take it's course. If Nikole refuse; then let her. She can be excused.

No more tears on Sunday nite when Nikole say goodbye to Mummy and Ah Mah. She is going home to play wiht the toys she received from Yiyi for being such a good gal. Mummy felt better. Not so guilt stricken..

Daddy greeted Mummy at 8am on Monday morning with a light hearted mood. Nikole did everything on her own. woke up at first call; wash up; change uniform and off she went with Ah Gong to school.

Daddy also happily set off to work .. Mummy felt so proud of Nikole!

Thank you my dear; u are really marvelous! *Muack!*

Yeah!! We are going home!

It's 5.30pm.. and we are going home!!

Good bye Ward 46 !!

THANK YOU to all the Doctors and Nurses at Ward 46; thanks for all the care, concern and loves rendered to Nikolas during the stays. Your great attention and wonderful services are much appreciated.

Day 5 @ KKH

Nikolas is desperate to go home now.. he is getting more restless being confined in this little area..
this morning he woke up and start busy asking for the phone and start to dial ..next u can hear him coo-ing and gagging over the handset .."Daddy .. go home.. ah gong.. go home.."

His temperature dropped till 37.5 degree this morning; but diarrhea still persist even though not that much as to 10 times per day.. Doc say she can only discharge us if the diarrhea stops and temperature dun swing upwards again..

We looks forwrd to go home soon!! Today is Mid-autume festival!!! We needs to go back home to enjoy our lantern carrying!

Day 4 @ KKH

Nikolas is still running fever at 38 degree.. the doc sent some more of his mucus and stool for a different set of tests..

The doctor and nurses at Ward 46 are really nice .. our dear little boy really knows how to gain their loves instantly.

Nikolas sleep alot these 2 days; the virus must be super annoying and our little one got so tired fighting the stubborn virus away. :(

Day 3 @ KKH

Nikolas is feeling more tired today.. slept a lot; we hope this is a good sign and we can go home soon!

He is quite restless today; keep saying he wanna go home.. we tried to keep him entertained with cartoons.

Daddy brought Jie Jie to attend her school classmate's 5th birthday party;
hence couldn't accompany Nikolas for the afternoon.

Nikolas slept again in the afternoon.. lao-yi popped over and got him a nice cool red sport car. Nikolas was so thrilled to see the car! Nikole was being pampered too! she too got a very nice princess colouring set from lao Yi!

Thanks Alice Lao Yi!! the kids are all so pampered and well-loved with so much abundance loves .... ^_^

Day 2 @ KKH - surprise visit !

A great nice surprise indeed!
Angus Gor gor, Jiu jiu, Wendy Yiyi, Ah Pei Yi yi all came to visit Nikolas in the afternoon..
The company really make Nikolas feeling all alert with all his beloved people coming to keep him company. :)
Both YiYi cames packed with gifts for him and Nikole.. more trains for Nikolas to play !
Best companion Nikolas has is none other but Angus Gor gor... whole afternoon; u can only hear him calling "gor gor .. gor gor.." the 2 guys had long hours of playing the trains together. ^_^

In between plays, Nikolas is still braving fever at range of 38 degree; couple times of diarrhea and vomitting.. but these does not deter hm to be cheeky.. especially when the nurse brought him a push car to play with!

Day 2 @ KKH

Nikolas woke up fresh ; still running fever at around 38 degree; but he is feeling much better. Definitely more alert as compared to the previous night.
Grandma brought him a new set of Thomas & Friends to play with.. he is behaving well.
No appetite though.. he play with his train for a while; took a morning nap after the medication; woke up.. watch cartoon network over the television.

We looks forward to going home soon ! ^-^
